This is the second time I've had a Gaia account hacked.
And frankly, it's getting old quick.
Hackers are all too common on Gaia. They promise you lots of gold and Gaia cash for free in quick easy steps so you can go buy that ultra-rare collectible that people usually spend $20 getting. It's pathetic.
First off, hackers on Gaia is simply stupid. For one, people, Gaia is a free online site with optional buying options. Getting gold is a task, but not an impossible one. Botting and cheating is NOT NECESSARY. Seriously, who gets that addicted to getting gold and items? Plus, it's just wrong to take them away from other players who have faithfully earned their gold and inventory items the right way. Pure greed, that's what it is...Secondly, phishing people so you can take their accounts and use them to spam other people is annoying and stupid as well. What is it about having virtual items that makes some geeks go ga-ga enough to want to steal them from someone else?
It thoroughly annoys me. And it sucks to be a victim. One minute, you're happily surfing -- and the nest, you're blocked out, panicking that your log-in doesn't work anymore. Try going from having over twenty hard-earned collectibles and 200 items in your inventory and 36,000 gold....to nothing. Plus, all your threads and posts are now under that faker's name, possibly even rigged to continue the scam that got you, your friend's list gone, your journal, gone, and your profile blocked.
Hackers....get a life.
Do something more productive like breaking into the Pentagon instead of bugging young adults on a free website.

People's Intelligence is Going Bad...
I've noticed something on GaiaOnline within the recent year. Not only have they really gone gun-ho with the Cash Shop items (which, to be honest, I love, but I don't have the money to buy all the new ones! XP) -- but the forums are really depreciating.
First off, Gaia's added a new forum section for "Hot Topics" like Twilight, Naruto, Glee and other subjects that pop up. That's fine, I guess. It does kind of bug the crap out of me when new stuff like that pops up and everyone and their grandma spams the forums with "OMG (insert topic here) ROXS!" I'd rather have them in their own forum than see 500 new topics say the same damn thing in the other forums where it doesn't belong...
Secondly, the Barton Town roleplay forum is being overrun with a major problem: cliches. That's right. The noobs who don't care what the hell they write have started to really take over Barton. As a higher semi-lit to adv. literate writer, I am a little pickier about the roleplays I make and join. But seriously, when I have to search over 40 PAGES and STILL not find a roleplay worth joining, it just really saddens me. And no, readers. I don't just go by how the title looks. I look for a genre I like first -- and sometimes, I can't even find that. Apparently, vampires, yaoi, Alice in Wonderland, school, and apocalypse roleplays are all that's in Barton anymore.
I actually feel a little special. My roleplays actually appear unique in this market of RPs. Creepshow, my circus roleplay, was so popular that people were asking to reserve before I even declared it open! But, upon closer examination, I found that it was pretty much the only circus roleplay within 35 pages.
But I also think people liked it so much for the fact it was built like a literate roleplay. Which brings me to my last point: the literacy of Barton has really gone bad. 90% of the roleplays I looked through were poorly done and overdone. "A war between vampires and lycans", "Welcome to so-and-so school of magic", "Fall in love"... You get the point. And the thing is, people buy into this RPs! They could have 3,000 posts that only have three sentences each. Some have 3,000 PAGES chock-full of one-liners. (I cringe at one-liners!) The chances of even finding a literate roleplay is probably 1 in 670...and when you translate to pages you have to search through, it's just a bitch.
Do people not have any sort of decency anymore? Roleplaying isn't supposed to be how fast you can post (but going too slow sucks too!) or just an on-the-fly decision you'll back out of by tommorrow. Any higher literate roleplayer will tell you that a lot of work goes into making a good, unique plot and an in-depth character. And I will agree with that. And what I find is: the more effort you put into something, the more invigorating it is to use it. Just with Creepshow alone, I can sense a lot more passion and realism in everyone's words -- which is far more than I can say for most RPs.
Bottom line is: Barton needs to be cleaned up badly. They were able to do it with the "Hot Topics" idea. Why not Barton, their biggest forum audience?
I have an idea for the clean up too. Right now, Barton is listed under the Community section of the forums, which is logical. But if they made Barton Town into a whole section of its own, and make the different subsections the links into the Barton area, I think searching for specific kinds of roleplays will become easier, and also weed out the random roleplays to make it much less cramped. You could even add more subsections with that option. What do they have now? Organization roleplays, Series-related roleplays.... Those don't span much (and sometimes, people are too stupid to put their RPs in the right place when it qualifys, which leads to the mosh pit known as the main Barton forum.)
...One more thing: Gaia...FIX THE FORUM SEARCH ENGINE. I seriously can't find anything with that thing. I was looking for some of my friend's old topics and it wouldn't bring any of them up. Like they never existed. WHAT THE HELL?! And when I was looking for another friend's old roleplays, it only showed me his three most recent topics, not all of them. That's a little bit of bullshit.

Hi People!
I doubt anyone read these but meh. For those that do -- whoever you are, make yourself known! -- I shall acknowledge them.
Alright, well, it's almost Thankgiving and I'm bored in class yet again. There's nothing to do today because it's right before vacation and teachers don't give us a lot of homework. So, I've let my mind wander a lot.
And magically, I came up with an idea for a quick grapic novel! I've attempted to draw one before -- had the story and everything plotted out. However, I made lots of novice mistakes, like making pictures too small and not taking my time with it. But this time, I think it will be a lot easier. For one: I've learned from my mistakes. I've looked at my friend Mara's little manga she's been doing and took her style of organization into consideration. Secondly: Instead of doing full figures (normal manga drawing), I'm doing it all in CHIBIS. Yes. An all-chibi manga. I bet no one's tried that before. Chibis are not only easy to draw, but can make even the most gruesome manga/anime into cuteness. ^-^ So I'm working on that one now.
Other than that, I've found myself playing Tales of Phantasia (gonna do a review on that later on). And I've had more trouble sleeping. Lately, I've had this spooky thought creep into my head and it scares the crap out of me every time. Ugh, I wish I could make it go away.

Ugh...
Well, I had a random 2-hour nap earlier today, so guess who's up at midnight and feels wide awake? Yeah...you guessed it. Kami is. Ugh.
Since I'm here, I'm going to waste some time so I can hopefully fall asleep soon. For starters...I'm kinda hungry, but if I go eat something, I'll probably stay awake for even longer. -_- (Who's thinking extra big breakfast tommorrow?)
And I'd be posting on Gaia right now if it weren't for the fact that all my RPs except one have basically died because PEOPLE ARE TOO DAMN LAZY TO MAKE TIME. I mean, sheesh! They complain "oh, I have school and homework." Well, guess what, buddy? So do I. And I can make time even while writing college level papers in high school. Work and sickness I can understand, but when people pull the school complaint, I just turn into angry bitch. And then they are the lazy posters, whom are the main cause of my RPs dying. This one girl is like the focal person in the plot right now and she hasn't posted for days. >_< Pisses. Me. Off....
So, basically for the last like three hours, I've been watching random Let's Plays on Youtube. Right now, I'm checking out some from icrangirl and AzureBlade49. Usually, I turn to NintendoCapriSun and BeholdMyStrength, but I wanted some variety. BMS is my ultimate favorite when it comes to let's players. His commentary is the SHIZ.
....What I should be doing is reading the stupid book I'm supposed to do a summary and a reaction paper on. "Fast Food Nation"....I've only read the first 17 pages, and it's boring the crap out of me. Watching documentaries can sometimes be interesting, but reading them IS FRICKING BORING. Ugh, good thing our College Comp. teacher is merciful and only made us read the intro and one assigned chapter. Oh well...I just finish the chapter during French or whatever class we aren't doing a lot in...maybe at lunch, idk.
Well, I'm off to watch yet another let's play. Ta-ta, people of the internet who happen to read this.

Friday the 13th!
Oh joy. Friday the 13th. A date that is said to bring bad luck no matter what.
Well, I'm not even superstitious and I had my day ruined by this crap date.
First off, I had to get earlier than usual to get a ride to school, since the person I normally carpool with decided to take the day off. Fun. So I was extra tired and I didn't eat.
Then on the way there, they were bumming me out with really depressing issues that I didn't want to deal with at 7 A.M. I was about ready to just say, "You know what? ...Shut the hell up."
Then when I went to my computer class, I was going to convert my downloaded Naruto Abridged episodes so we could watch them in club later that day. ...Not only did I have trouble saving them, but the episodes were cut off! D: So I wasted a shitload of time with that dumb endeavor.
Then the worst of it happened. Since it was Friday, I normally have to walk over to the technical college across the parking for my college credit class. So I left early, like usual, so I could get there on time.
Well, I get there and the door is locked--an indicator that there isn't a class going on in that room. "Well fuck," I said, and started to walk back to the high school. If the class isn't at the tech college, then it's at one of the east houses at the school. (They're really shitty temp. buildings that have been there WAAAY longer than they should be.)
Anyways, I get there--and the bell's rung by now--and no one's there. So I'm like "WHAT THE HELL?! Where is everyone?!" Suddenly, I got the idea that maybe I got to the tech college too early and the teacher just didn't unlock the door yet. SOOOOO I trek back to the tech college. (By now, I would've been 7 minutes late. Not good.) But again, when I get there, the door's still locked.
That's when I just said "FUCK IT" and went back to the high school. I went to the Media Center, grabbed a computer near my friend Keegan and said, "You know what? Screw going to class." Come to realize after the fact....WE DIDN'T HAVE CLASS TO BEGIN WITH. Turns out since the Girl's Volleyball team had a game, the teacher called off class. Stupid frickin' sports....
After that, it was just my friends pissing me off with stupid little things. I wasn't in the mood for playing around anymore. I go to club, sit and chill while drawing to calm myself, and try to zone out the crap they're watching (Hate Wolf's Rain....it's not that good).
So, after club, then I waited for my mom to pick me up. She was a little later than expected and when I called her, she wouldn't pick up. ......*epic sigh* When she does finally get a hold of me ten minutes later, she tells me that my stepdad's in the emergency room.
....WHEN WILL THE DAMN TORTURE END!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
So I sat in the waiting room of the emergency room entrance for an hour, watching Oprah and her interview with Stephanie Meyer. (Yes, I've read the entire Twilight series. I'm not an uber fangirl but I can't completely hate them either.)
And after all that crap, I got home and relaxed FINALLY.
It's safe to say I'm sick of Friday the 13th. Hopefully tommorrow at my friend's "Friday the 13th Scary Movie Party" will go better than today. F...M.....L.....

GaiaOnline!
Yeah, I'm gonna totally advertise Gaia! XD
It's practically my go-to site for boredom. I've become quite addicted to roleplaying while on the site. XP Basically, it's all I do there.
I used to have a pixel shop, but due to time contraints with school and people always getting impatient (darn you people!), I've given up on my shop for a while. Which isn't totally bad either; the only reason I had it was to make Gaia gold. And now, I can easily make 1,000 gold everyday just by posting. (Thank you admins for fixing the gold distribution! XD)
The events are kinda suckish and I can't play their MMO, ZomG!, because my comp. is a piece of crap and lags like no tommorrow, which gets me killed.
So, yeah, making my avatar pretty and posting in Barton Town (the roleplaying forum) is about all I do there. It is a great site though to meet new people and make friends. ^-^ I even met my boyfriend there.
So, if you're on GaiaOnline and see this blog, you should totally look me up. My Gaia name is Oathkeeper_Hikaru. ^-^

Okay, so I'm bored in class. Hopefully over the weekend I'll have my first story blog up. I just need to figure out what to call the damn thing, then finish the first chapter.
I thought about waiting to put it up, since it's the second book in my series, but I'm having a block with the first one. (Argh to the cliches!) Either way, the order doesn't really matter much; they aren't directly related. So I might just put it up anyway.
And I've thought about an anime blog as well, since I like to be a critic. To a lesser extent, I might try a game reviewing blog as well.
So yeah, that's my thoughts as of right now. I'm gonna go back to typing my story now so I can get that up soon. XP
